ABOUT US
Head Trainer SYDNEY MONDORF
Sydney began riding horses as a child in Wyoming, learning the basics as a western rider before making the switch to Hunter/Jumpers. She started her career riding with Hunter rider and trainer Jessie Lang. Upon moving to Central Oregon Sydney rode with Simone Starnes of Starnes Equestrian.
Sydney has had the opportunity to learn from renowned professionals such a the team at Legacy Hunters and Jumpers, Nancy Free, Audrey Goldsmith and Jeff Cook. As a student of the sport, Sydney has continued to learn from these coaches with the goal of providing more education to her own students. She is a firm believer that you never stop learning when it comes to horses and that having a support team is crucial to success.
Sydney started Mondorf Jumpers in 2022 and has enjoyed watching her training and lesson clients have success in the show ring, in their everyday relationship with their horses and in their weekly riding lessons.
Sydney has a passion for developing and improving the lives of horses. Her philosophy is that training is where you make the biggest impact on horses, therefore it is her opportunity to help the horse become confident and comfortable in their own skin. She wants to empower each horse she works with to find themselves and love their day to day jobs.
